hydrasalpinx removed but still bleeding 9 weeks after opp

Hi ive had my hydrasalpinx removed on 13th june but am very tender in the area and ive been bleeding since the opp some days its spotting and others its like  a period fairly heavy. I experience pain in the area and take pain killers. Can you tell me what the cause of this bleeding is ?

Hi i went to see my gp yesterday and she did an internal and saw polyps and stated this is the reason for the bleeding and has now sent the swab to the lab for testing and i need to go back next week for the result and to decide next step.  Im confised why was the polyp not removed whilst i had the tube removed? do i need to go for another opp now? im not even properly healed? feeling real depressed now wat shall i do can i polyps be cancerous?

Hi!
If you were my patient, I would ask you to come in and see me about the bleeding/spotting.  Prolonged bleeding is not normal.  I would probably want to do an ultrasound exam and some blood testing.  I would consider a CBC, TSH, prolactin level, FSH to start with.  It is possible that a hormone imbalance has triggered the bleeding.
Another possibility is infection.  Infection is also suggested by your tenderness.
The pain should be pretty much completely gone by 6 weeks post op.
I would definitely suggest giving your surgeon a call!
