Hi :) Having regular periods can help you get pregnant so obviously without a regular period, the chances of ovulation are slim. However what you need to look into is that if your periods are very irregular like mine were then you may have what is called 'PCOS' which affects ovulation and periods.

People with PCOS (Poly Cystic Ovary Syndrome) often receive help upon a positive diagnosis and are usually prescribed a tablet called 'Clomid' which helps you to ovulate and often helps you to conceive.

Hope this helps and if you ever need advice or to talk i'm available :) x

Hi!
If you were my patient, I would advise you that if your periods are irregular (more than 35 days apart) you are probably not ovulating regularly.  That is the most likely reason that you are not having luck with pregnancy.
If you visit your doctor, he/she could prescribe a medication such as Clomid that will help you ovulate more frequently and possibly speed up the time to conception.
Good luck!
