Bee pollen/royal jelly and prenatals

My husband and I have been ttc for over 14 yrs I'm 36 years old and he is 34.   We have been pregnant 7 times but lost each one around 9 wks and earlier.   The dr has done all the test that he can think of including testing for blood clotting disorders and chromosone disorders on the both of us.   They have chalked it up to unexplained multiple recurrent miscarriages.   I've read about bee pollen and royal jelly.

Is it safe to take bee pollen w/ royal jelly while taking prenatal vitamins?

Right now my dr has me on 81mg asprin, 400 mg follic acid, prenatal, and fish oil.

Thank you Dr. B.  My husband has gone through the sperm DNA analysis he has came back normal.  My RE wants to try heprin and prometrium as soon as I do get a positive HPT.  He has a few other things that he would like to try later before giving up and telling me that IVF is my only option.   As for IVF there is no guarntee that I would be able to carry or that my body will actually accept the embryo.

Hi!
I can't find any evidence that either bee pollen or royal jelly is dangerous.  I also can't find any evidence that it is beneficial either.  If you do take it, and if you were my patient, I would advise two things:  don't spend a ton of money and stop immediately when you find out you are pregnant.  It must be devastating to have had so many losses.  A couple of "newer" things that you didn't mention:  Sperm DNA fragmentation analysis; Proxeed to boost his sperm count, and heparin--low dose for you--but be very cautious when/if  using it with aspirin. Recurrent SABs is certainly a difficult problem, because even with IVF you can't necessarily get around it.  Keep trying though, one of our forum members is finally continuing on with pregnancy number six.
Good luck!
