Hi!
I'm interested in the comment by mzwannabe! I have found that relying on the fertility monitor too much is a mistake. Also, clomid can reduce cervical mucus--so if that seems to be a problem for you, you may want to ask to be switched to Femara.
Optimal frequency of intercourse during the fertile time ( days 11-16 usually ) is everyday to every other day. Nature is pretty good at getting couples together when the time is right, though, so if both of you are "in the mood" even though its not your day according to the monitor--do what comes naturally!
Good luck!

Hi, i'm not gonna be much help in this department but it's been a week and a half since I took my first round of 50mg clomid and my doctor never mentioned that me and my hunny needed to track my ovulation with a kit or anything. My doctor just pretty much said after the last pill i took to be frisky for the next two weeks and then we'd call back to make an appointment and see what happens.
I know in the past when i did try ovulation kits that they would say i was ovulating when i actually wasn't since my doctor found it to be that i don't ovulate on my own. It's frustrating especially when you trust it to be telling the truth and really not knowing for sure.
Well best of luck to you and hoping for positive results, i'm not that far behind or ahead of you i guess we can check back in sometime to see where we are!
