Hi!
Because of the location of the pregnancy, (way up in the corner of the uterus--think of the cavity as an inverted triangle--the bottom is the cervix, and the two cornua are the other two angles) it would be very technically difficult if not impossible, to do a d&c for that type of ectopic.
You have me intrigued about the possibility that it might be done under ultrasound guidance, but that would be an experimental procedure, and it would be extremely risky! The two biggest risks would be uncontrollable bleeding and perforation ( a hole) in the uterus with the potential for bowel injury.
So, if you "got away with it" it would be great, but if something went wrong it would be a big mess. The best bet is methotrexate and surgery. I hope your other side is OK.
After you are all healed, if you want to try again, you should consider an HSG (hysterosalpingogram) to check the uterine cavity and the tube on the other side.
Sorry for your loss!
Good luck!

Thanks so much for your quick response and great information. Since my last surgery I had a baby girl with no problems! She is my miracle baby. Thanks again!
