Extremely tight hymenal opening

Hello! I am 30 yrs old and have been ttc for nearly 13 months with no success.I had a pelvic ultrasound, blood test, hormone test and husband's semen analysis done. All reports were normal.i went for a laparoscopy and hsg on Saturday. My uterus, ovaries and tubes were found to be perfect. However the doctor mentioned a minor problem of an extremely tight hymenal opening.Does this mean that my hymen is still intact and sperms cannot penetrate inside?I have been married for 3 years and I did not bleed during my first intercourse after marriage.I however do not have much pain during sex.Kindly let me know how to overcome this problem.I visit my doctor on Wednesday but would like to have your valuable advice and suggestions before that.

Thanks for the prompt response sir.I met the doc again. He said that he was surprised to see the tightness of my hymenal opening.....it was as if i have never had intercourse. It now seems that even though me and my husband were having intercourse,we have never been able to have full penetration. The way we were doing it was wrong. The doc's assistant showed me by inserting her fingers inside the vaginal opening and i was surprised to find how deep they went.Only thing is that i held myself tight during the procedure and it pinched me a little.I guess i and my husband will have to restart having intercourse properly. Its not understood that we have no fertility issues at all.

I must express my ignorance. If you are having intercourse, the hymenal ring is not a factor, as for as all of my training. Do you think the doctor meant something else? I am at a lost the hymenal ring is at the opening of the vagina, Semen is with intercourse in placed in the posterior fornix at the opper vagina in the posterion forchette next to the cervix. Sorry if you get more info, come back.

If you have had pap smears the hymen is open.
Tks
