I really need your help

ok so the doctor put me on clomid from the 3rd day of my period. I took tablets but I've been having side effects from after ovulation. I have breast tenderness. extreme tiredness, food cravings. I want to know how long does the side effects last. I'm on day 24 of my cycle. Took a pregnancy test yesterday but it came up negative..

Don't get discouraged. It took 3 cycles of clomid (day 3-7) for me to get pregnant. the first time I didn't ovulate til day 32 (I knew this because I was peeing on ovulation tests ever day til I got the smiley face) and I had my period day 46. the next month I ovulated day 17, then period d 32. the 3rd month I ovulated d17 and got pregnant with my first child. shes 13 months old now. in addition to clomid, I was prescribed: premarin twice daily for days 7-14 and mucinex daily for day 13-18 and told to have sex day 13-21.
i'm trying to get pregnant again and my doctor now prescribed my femera instead of clomid (supposed to have less side effects?).

I took the Clomid because my doctor said that I was not ovulating. I took it so my chances of becoming pregnant would increase however my test came up negative on 12/04/13. Should I continue with the clomid for my next cycle. I'm still having side effects today I have a little fever and back pain plus upset feeling after lunch... The side effects won't go away... Should I continue clomid??

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi!
If you were my patient, I would advise you that as far as the side effects of clomid go, everyone is quite variable.  For the most part the side effects of the Clomid itself last only during the time you are taking the medication.  If it does work though, it can cause PMS type symptoms which is what I suspect you are experiencing.  PMS usually improves with the start of the next period.
You should have a period by CD 28 if the Clomid worked.
Good luck!
