Hi honey its maybe too early to test as you only had the IUI on sept 1st and its only the 6th.Wait until at least 12/14 days after the IUI,so test in the 12 or 13th.After an IUI its normal to get some cramping.Hope you get a result but give it a bit more time xx
will im received AF on Thursday morning was told I need to go on to IVF so will have to save for it. hopefully the new year will bring some luck our way.
Hi!
Cramping after IUI is VERY normal. An instrument has been passed into your uterus, and that causes your uterus to react. It won't tell you whether or not you are pregnant though, only the hcg test will tell you that.
I'm sure that you must be discouraged after 5 years of trying! Sometimes when my patients reach that point, I suggest that they consider adoption--not instead of, but in addition to continuing to try for one of "their own".
There are so many babies in need of good parents--why not adopt one now while you are waiting for your own blessing?
Hope this information helps, and maybe you are already pregnant!
Good luck!

i have been very sleeping and gassy all week, i am also very nauseas with minor dizzy spells. still with lower back pain but doc took away water to drink v8 and powergade or gratade. so you might want to try that
Baby dust for you and me!!!!
We are on the exact same cycle dates I also took the trigger shot 30 August and had my first IUI the 1st September 2010 - I have the exact same pains, by now you are 10DP Ovidrel and 10DP Ovulation - I am only finding relief of lower back pain, and tummy/ovary cramps today - I still have dizzy spells and a lil nausea which apparently is all cause by the Ovidrel shot - with that I also have broken sleep and gassiness - do you have any of those symptoms?
