OHSS and potassium chloride

HelloI had OHSS after egg retrieval in IVF procedure. Transfer was postponed till I get better. Doctor gave me Lasix 40 mg to be taken once and Neo-K (potassium chloride) 500 mg twice daily for 5 days for now. My concern is that I ate two potatoes, one banana, a cup of yogurt, and  tomato, all potassium sources today. Should I take my evening dose now without danger of potassium overdose
Thank you

Thank you SO MUCH Dr B! That really eases my mind. So I skipped my evening dose yesterday but am going to take it now :)
Thank you for the wishes, I do feel better, going for a scan tomorrow. Can't wait for transfer, in about a month hopefully.

Hi!
You don't need to worry about postassium overdose if you have normal kidneys.
Even without the Lasix, your kidneys would wash out the excess.
Good luck with your upcoming transfer.  Hope you get better soon!
