Plan B A Few Days After Period, More Than 30 Days Later, No Period and Negative Pregnancy Test, Please Help

On or about September 18th was the end of my period and on September 21-22nd I had unprotected sex; on September 22 or 23rd I took Plan B. I have not gotten a period since, I just moved, I went back and forth by plane from one state to another, I have been under alot of stress - but good stress and just realized that my period is missing in action.  I took a pregnancy test about three days ago and it came back negative - I don't know if it was too early or what.  I do feel sick to my stomach but I don't know if that is just my nerves.  As I am typing this, I realize that it is kind of early but I am concerned because I moved to start a new life, I left the ex-boyfriend behind and I just really don't want to be pregnant but I am 30 and I have had a few abortions/miscarriages in the past and feel that if I was pregnant the best thing would be for me to keep it.  I truly don't want to traumatize my body any more... I am just confused as to where my period is?? Please help.

In all likelihood, you are not pregnant. Ovulation usually occurs 14 days after a period (if your periods are regular every 28-30 days), so chances of getting pregnant after unprotected sex Sept 22 or 23 are pretty slim, even more slim after Plan B. Urine pregnancy tests are very accurate, but if you are still concerned you can repeat it or get a blood pregnancy test. As for the late period, since it sounds like this is the first time you have had a late period, it may just be stress related. If you have not had a period by November  22, you should visit your ObGyn, but my guess is that this will correct itself on its own.

I too am in the same situation as you are. I took plan b in the beginning of August and shortly after got my period, but my following period in September was 6 days late, this month I have had not period at all!!! It is now 8 days late. I have taken about 5 pergnancy tests and all have been negative. My doctor said that it is normal for your period to be off for a while since there are a lot of hormones in the plan b pill. If you don't have a period next month then I would take go see the doctor. Other wise you should be fine, just to be safe take another pregnancy test in a week. Hope this help. I hate the feeling of not knowing what is going on.

Am I Immediate fertil after taking the Plan B (Levonorgestrel)??? Because I read in one site that the fertility returns after one or two periods after taking the plan B??? Is that true? That means that I could have sexual contact one or two weeks latter and I could not got pregnant without ussing other anticonceptive method???
