Implantation Bleeding

I know implantation only happens in a certain percentage of women, but if it does occur, how soon after ovulation is it possible?  I had a pinkish discharge 5 days after ovulation, and am wondering if that is what it could be.  I'm only 8 days post ovulation, so it is too soon to take a pregnancy test.

Thank you.

Implantation occurs approximately 7 days after ovulation. Theoretically eight days after ovulation a pregnancy test could be positive. but it is probably best to hold off untile 10-11 days post ovulation, or even wait until you miss your expected period, since many positive pregnancy tests before an anticipated period end up being lost when a period comes on.
