TTC and finally missed period but negative pregnancy test.

My LMP was 2/21/08 but on 3/3/08, I bleed slightly for 3 days. I thought I was pregnant coz I thought that was implantation bleeding but I decided to wait to see if my period came.  After it didn't come on 3/19/08, I did a HPT but came back negative.  I was getting symptoms of being pregnant esp. the frequent trips to the bathroom.  The only symptom I am NOT getting which makes pregnancy obvious is the tenderness to the breast. (Are you suppose to get that as soon as you get pregnant or does having breast implants affect the tenderness?)  On 4/3/2008, I did another HPT and still negative.  I'm still getting abdominal cramping like I'm about to get my period but nothing.  I also get slight pain on my lower ab first thing I wake up in the morning.  I eat pretty healthly and do cardio workout 4-5 times a week.   I'm not really stressed out but more so anxious than anything cause I really want to have a baby coz I'm already 35yrs old.  Never had kids before and have NOT been on BC for over 8yrs.  Been TTC for 8mths now and on 4/16/08 will be the 2nd month my period never came.  Is that normal or could I be possibly pregnant.  Also, I always got my period monthly and when I turned around 32yrs old, my period got a little lighter but it always came until now. Pls advise coz I want to prepare myself before I finally see a doctor and get another devasting news that I'm not pregnant but developed a new problem or might not be even ovulating. Thank you doctor.

Hi Rachel. Thank you for responding. I'm starting to accept that I might not be pregnant after all.  Today marks the 2nd month my period didn't come.  I also will be checking with a doctor as soon as I obtain health insurance.  I probably will have to do what you advise me to do and go on medication but right now, I'm more worried to find out what might be wrong with me.  I've never been pregnant before and now that I'm ready, its hard to concieve.  This is also the 1st time I never got my period so we'll see. Thanks again.

Your breast doesnt always get tender as soon as you get pregnant. Every women is different. As far as I am concern have implants shouldnt effect anything. As far as I know that only thing is if the doc who did it put in under you duct glands, why bc if he did then you can breast feed but if not then you would have to get them removed or replaced so you could breast feed. You need to get a blood test done, that is the only sure fire way. Well IF you are having trouble then dont take it as devasting news. If anything your doc would check you and you partner out to make sure everything is ok then if you are not pg then put you on provera to get you period started and clomid if need be to help you ovulate. Blessing and baby dust. keep me posted Rachel
