Maybe you are thinking of Femara (letrozole)?? This is also used to treat breast cancer and to induce ovulation in fertility patients instead of clomid. I read many scientific articles regarding femara before I decided to try it. It does work and worked for me on the first cycle. I know others who it also worked for. If you are looking for an alternative to clomid it is something you may want to investigate bfore moving on to injectibles. It works in a different way than clomid and therefore may work even if clomid did not.
This was tried years ago, since tamoxifen structurally is similar to clomid. Tamoxifen works, however clomid works better.
