When am I ovulating??

Okay, I know this is my fault for not temping / charting, but I'm getting a little confused here...I'm on clomid cd 2-6. Instructions in my clomid packet say to expect ovulation anywhere from 5-9 days after last tablet taken. However, my cycles on clomid (with confirmed ovulation) are 34 days and I always thought that my period comes 14 days after ovulation. So which one is it? Am I ovulating in the early part of my cycle, day 14-16 (going by the 5-9 days after last tablet guide), or am I ovulating later, around day 19 or 20 (going by the 'you get your period 14 days after ovulation' guide)????

You are well informed. And both should be right. If I were to guess the wrong one, I hope its the LH / prediciting, more types of false positives. You maybe best treated by doing a sono around cycle day 11 or 12 and if a dominate follicle is seen, trigger ovulation with a shot of HCG ( pregnancy hormone looks just like LH, to the body) and pursue timed intercourse or and IUI within 34 hours. My next step...
HOPE THIS HELPS

I think every woman's body is different - the insert just gives a generalization about when most women will ovulate, but as you can read from different women, their experiences and cycles are very different on Clomid.
I would say you're Oing about 14 days before AF like you think - go with your intuition - can you notice any changes in CM during those days?
I just started the OPKs too - since I'm on Clomid and don't know when to expect O - I got a tube of 20 by ANswer - at CVS for $20.

Cant tell anything from my cm - it never changes and I never have EWCM, but my blood tests always confirm that I am o. HSG tets also confirmed tubes open and unblocked.

It's hard to say.  I use the ovulation predictor kits, and they work pretty well.  They are a little expensive, but if you have the extra money they are worth it.  I pay 17.99 for a 7 pack of test sticks at target.
