clomid

I was ovulating normally and my RE gave me clomid last cycle. I had a HORRIBLE experience on it, and am not taking it this month.  Is it possible that taking clomid last month will inhibit me from ovulating normally without it this month?

did u ask ur OB as to why she gave u the C.? there must be a reason...i O my own as well.but my cycles were long and my egg quality weren't that good due to being 35..so we wanted to take C to  have a shorther cycles and to produce healthier eggs...

u should find out the reason first before u give up on it?

and answering ur question,I don't think so..if u dont get preggo witrh C ,ur AF will show up within 3 weeks

Hi!
Clomid can affect the cycle after the cycle in which it is taken.  So, I guess I would have to say yes, it could.  If your RE thinks you need something, and you didn't like Clomid/Clomid didn't work for you, you might want to ask about Femara.  It seems to have a lot fewer side effects, and in my experience it works better too.
Good luck!
