help!!!!!!!!

Ok when i was 15 my parents made me get the depo provera injection. When i was 17 i refused to take it and i am now 20 and me and my husband have been trying for a little over 2 years to get pregnant but i still haven't been able to. Im scared that the shot has made me infertile. I really want to have a baby. Can someone please give me advice on what to do? Or has anyone else experienced this with the depo shot?

Thank you so much. My periods are for the most part normal. I have one every month and they last between 2-5 days.

Hi!
If you were my patient, I would advise you that the depo shot doesn't cause permanent infertility.  Once the menstrual periods resume, fertility is back to baseline.  I would start a work up for you to see what the problem is.  I would do some hormone testing to determine whether you are ovulating and I would test his sperm count.   If all of those results looked good, I would suggest next would be an hsg which is a dye study to see if your fallopian tubes are open or blocked.
Good luck!
