Hello everyone,I'm new here and I will need all help and encouragement that u could give.
I'm 34 and my dh is 40,i have ovarian cyst and uterine fibroids. We ve been ttc for almost a yr now.I'm afraid to do myomectomy becos I'm not sure whether the last ovarian cyst I removed in 2007 is the cause of all dis infertility. fsh levels on cd3 are , 25.2, 20.8, 14.8, 14.6, 10.7, 10.5 of diff cyc. I only need advice from u darling people. Any advise will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I was also told my fsh was too high! I did the clomid challenge test. On day 3 it was 6.1 but on day 10 after the clomid it was 21 and I am 38yrs old.  Do I even have a chance of getting pregnant? Everything I am reading tells me something different but none of it is really very good!

HI!
There is not anything you can do to lower your FSH.  That would require turning back the clock. (I"d like to lower mine too!).  It sounds like you have early menopause.  If you were my patient, I would re-check your FSH level on cycle day 3.  If you have cycles still.
If it remained elevated, I would offer you the option of oral contraceptive pills and help you work with a donor egg or embryo adoption agency.  For IVF to be successful, the FSH should ideally be less than 10.  Don't let an IVF clinic separate you from very much money trying with your own eggs if your FSH is truly that high.
Good luck!
