next treatment options?

had IUI ON 19THMAY 201o with controlled ovarian stimulation using menopur ,generialix and hcg trigger shot.two follicles 22mm and 14mm .was on progesterone suppliment and estrideol.14 days past had pregnancy test which came out negative.i had a ovaluation problem and thyroid problem which is treated.no problem with partner.what should i do?what r my next options.age=30

thank u dr.my tubes are open but i dnt knw where the problem exactly lies.i got thyroid problem,but we fixed it.is it hormonal imbalance,is it low ovarian reserve or failure to implant remains a question for me .

say if i produce 2 follicles in last cycle,what are my chances with ivf?is it a poor response to ovarian stimulation.

Hi!
Depending upon your wishes, it is worth doing at least 3 attempts at ovarian stimulation and IUI.  If you were my patient, I would suggest repeating the same protocol since it seems to have been effective in producing a very nice follicle.

If you had tried this route 3 times with no luck, (I presume that you KNOW that your tubes are OK--eg have had HSG )I would then move on to IVF.  As you are aware, IVF improves your chances by HYPER stimulating your ovaries and producing lots of follicles rather than one or two.
