plan b taken after period

My period cycle is about a 28-30 day cycle. I'm very regular. I had my last period on May 2nd, the next day I had unprotected sex. I took the morning after pill within 36 hours. After taking the Plan B, I had some side effects: bleeding within 5 days. I had a 3-4 day period (from May 7-10). I've read on various health forums, Plan B website that with Plan B, I could receive my period early, within 2 weeks after taking. But I just had my period before taking plan B. It's June 2nd, and I still haven't had my period. I also read somewhere, that your period could be two weeks late after its normal date after taking Plan B. I've taken Plan B in the past and I don't remember waiting this long to get my period...I don't know what to do, should I take a HPT/pregnancy test at my doctors (if I do, when is the best time?!)

Thank you for the feedback!

I haven't experienced any pregnancy symptoms like cravings, bloating, morning sickness, etc. It's actually been the opposite, like I don't have an appetite, so I am thinking its stress from this and other things in life.

HI!
Plan B usually works by delaying ovulation.  Delaying ovulation will delay the period.   So far you are OK.  But, the manufacturers DO recommend taking a pregnancy test if you have not had your period within 2 weeks after taking it.  I have had lots and lots of people with irregular bleeding after taking Plan B, so if you use a reliable test and it is negative, I think you can be calm and wait a little longer.
The best time to test for pregnancy is right about the time of the missed period,  If the test is negative and still no period, I usually recommend testing every 5-7 days after that.

Good luck!

have you experiencing any symptoms that you might think your pregnant? uhmm,,if you're doubtful you can try to have a ptest, for you to know if you're pregnant or not, coz as i count on what had happened, you said you had ur unprotected sex after your period, it isn't possible to get pregnant after a period coz there's no egg alreadyto be fertiized, and then you had some bleeding on may 7-10, i think you had your period to early, it might be the cause of having a delay period right now.. the morning after pill sometimes have an effect like this. dont stress yourself to much, sometimes, stress can affect also the hormones and may delay or you may have delay period.
