pregnancy symptoms after transfer

I am 9 days post-transfer via a donor cycle with a 5 day embryo transfer.  Only one embryo was transferred and I don't think I feel any real pregnancy symptoms.  Should I already be feeling any of these?  The only ones I really have are sore breasts and some fatigue.

1st time doing this.  I'am 37 years old and  just had a frozen blast transfer 9/26/07 only 2dpt (they are from my first IVF cycle) They transfered 5 blasts said that 1 was hatching 2 getting ready to hatch and 2 that stopped growing but still alive.  Anyone know if this is good?  How soon can I take HPT because they were already 5 days old when transfered?  my blood test is 10/8 and that is just so far away i am already going crazy just after 2 days.

I seem to be losing some of my symptoms and not quite 7 weeks; should I be worried? I am a mess over this but don't want the doctors to think I am crazy

Thank you so much for your prayers.  We are praying for a BFP for you too : )
I wish I had a recommendation for you in your area.  I would recommend them in a second to anyone.  We were truly blessed when we found our Dr.  She does have some helpful links on her website, one of them is www.sart.org.  There is a link to search for a Dr.  I also asked my Dr's office if they could recommend someone.  They do have a contact at a very reputable place out there.  She is going to get me the information...as soon as I have it I will forward it to you. I hope this is of some help to you.  Wish I could do more.  I know how helpful it is to get as much information as possible.  I wish we had more when we started this journey.

Hello. I'm very happy to hear that you got good news at your RE. That's your first step in the right direction.  Without a positive RE, it makes it difficult for us to remain positive and get that positive!  We have to be stress free!  I have been looking for another RE but so far, the one I found is not covered by my insurance.  If anyone in this world has an RE recommendation in the Los Angeles area, please share.

God, please bless IVF cycle #4 with a BFP. In Jesus name - Amen.

I am also in the two week waiting period. (6 dpt)  This is the 3rd IVF transfer for us (2 cycles - 3 transfers - 0 pos).  The quality of my eggs wasn't great - but we ended up with 3 8-cell embryos for a day-3 transfer.  The waiting is so hard and I am constantly reading everything I can find looking for 'clues'.  I do have a question for everyone out there though.. I was very sore this time after my retrieval.  Since about 3dpt, my stomach has been very bloated and hard.  I actually think it might be caused by over-stimulation of my ovaries as opposed to any sort of pregnancy symptom.  Has anyone else experienced this after their transfer?  My pain is almost gone - and so I don't think it's anything serious.

Just came back from my follow-up visit with my RE.  She actually said she was kind of surprised it didn't work this time.  She said all my steps were good and that she was happy with everything....except of course that it didn't result in a pregnancy.  My biggest fear was that she was going to tell us that my egg quality was poor.  But she said they look good...nothing abnormal at all.  She is very confident that all we need is just persistance to get a positive result.  I'm actually feeling better knowing that she is so optimistic.  I really needed some good news.  So if all goes well we are going to jump right into another IVF cycle...#4.  I'm so anxious to start again.  I know how it feels to have a Dr tell you so quickly that "it's probably your eggs...you should look into donor eggs"....but honestly I'm SO glad we went to another RE.  She said there is nothing wrong with my eggs.  Our other Dr said the same thing to my girlfriend...she went to our new Dr and got a BFP on her first try here.  So if that's the attitude your Dr is taking I highly advise going to another Dr and getting a fresh opinion.  I'm glad I did...and my friend is proof that it could pay off.  : )
