Provera -No period

Hi. I suffer from severe endometriosis and have had two laparoscopies in the last year. After the first lap I had a large endometrioma removed along with thick adhesions from the endo, I was then put on decapeptyl injections monthly injections for 3 months. My periods resumed 11 weeks after last injection. I then took clomid and pregnyl injections and did follicular tracking for 3 months. By the third month I had to stop medication as what was thought to be a large endometrioma had to be removed as it was too large. So had second lap. They started me on the decapeptyl injections again. Only had one injection this time as lab results came back and it turns out that the endometrioma is not in fact an endometrioma but in fact a serous cystadenoma(benign). My fertility doctor told me I should get my periods back sooner as i only had one injection. Well it's 13 weeks now and still nothing, Doc put me on provera 10mg twice a day for seven days. Its been 10 days now since I finished the prescription of provera and still no period. If it hasn't come by the next few days i'm going to ring my doctor again. Have done 3 pregnancy tests all negative. Anyone any ideas why I still haven't gotten my period?

Hi!
It can take up to two weeks for a withdrawl bleed to happen after a course of provera.  So, it is possible that you just need to wait a few more days.  Also, it may be that there is nothing in the lining to shed.  If you were my patient, and didn't have a withdrawl bleed within approximately 14 days, AND the pregnancy test was negative, I would probably start clomid and pregnyl again--these medications will stimulate your endometrium to thicken and (hopefully) your ovaries to ovulate, and then you will either have your period OR better yet, become pregnant!
I wish you all the best luck!
