Hi!
If you were my patient, I would advise you that it is totally up to you what to do next.  I often advise my patients to begin testing after the period is missed and then to test weekly after that until either their next period or until the test is positive.  In the case of patients with PCOS, sometimes it can be quite awhile before the next period in which case a blood test can be helpful.
Good luck!
