13 mm follicle on the 8th day is the growth normal
hi i am really worried about getting pregnant.my dr had advised to take siphene 100 for 5 days from the 3rd day of period.on the 3 rd day i took menodac 75 injection and on the 8 th day another menodac 75 on the 8 th.while doing ovulution study it was found i have 1 follicle around 13mm,enlarged left ovary..now i want to know dat is the growth of the follicle ok will it be 18 mm on the 14 the day.the dr has told that when it gets 18mm she will give a shot to rupture.i too want to know that will my ovaries be normal after i stop taking the medicine?

Hi,
The drugs used for induction of ovulation have only a temporary effect which is cycle specific. The effect will wane off soon. Also the treatment for conceiving may be necessary for few months till success is achieved. Hence do not worry. Your menses and hormones will revert back to normal after stopping the treatment.
