I haven't gone through the transfer yet, but I will on the 14th of December.  All I hear from people is to relax and try to keep yourself busy.  I'm doing acupuncture as well to help with relaxation and other things which I think would help. I wish you the best of luck and I hope you get that BFP!!!

That is EXCELLENT news for sure! Those are great numbers! I did a day 5 transfer as well...I know the research is kind of all over the place on that issue (day 3 or day 5), but I was fine with doing day 5 blasts. That's cool that she even gave you a status report on the development....my RE wouldn't tell me until five minutes before the procedure! You've got quite a few to choose from, too. So, how many are you going to transfer? Have you decided??? I transferred two because of the quality.

Got the call! They are pushing me to Sunday.. day 5. She was happy to report 11 of the 12 have 6 and 1 have 5 cells. Says she is very happy to see all the progress and moving me to day 5 gives the best out come. Hubby is still questionable.. I am just ready!!

That's what I am telling myself now. I will hold out for a TRUE reading.
This is our first cycle and it has just been a whirlwind! SO much info to learn and to process! I am waiting for the call this morning. They're suppose to call me at 8am and tell me if we are doing the ET today or if we will wait until Sunday (day 5). Hubby has researched and is hoping for a day 3.. me.. I am still on the fence.. honestly droned at this point ant will just do whatever they say! We had a successful ER with 17...13 mature and 12 fertilized. I am hoping if our outcome isn't what we are aiming for we have enuff to freeze (and the funds) to try again. I haven't even looked into the costs or procedures. Feel like we have been hit with several unexpected "monitoring" visits which has really taken a hit on the "baby account".

I am so happy things are moving along so quickly for you! Maybe with all the hustle and bustle of the holidays this will help to continue your speedy journey! I wish you health, wealth, love and happiness to you and your fam!!

I get it...I was the same way. Personally, and I know not all ladies will agree with me about this, but I was determined not to do a HPT before the actual blood test. I just knew a false positive or negative (which can sometimes happen) would be devastating for me. But everyone's different in how they handle it. I just totally distracted myself for those two weeks the best I could and waited for the true result to come back just to save myself some potential stress since I was already such a frazzled mess as it was!

Thanks so much so the kind words. I already worried how I will handle the 2 week wait. My hubby says I worry about the grass growing... this is true. :)

Honestly, the transfer is not as bad as you think it will be. I was pretty terrified as well. If I had to do it again, I'd say wait until right before you have to to do the transfer before you slam a bunch of water (like in the waiting room). I drank a ton before the drive to the clinic and then had to pee worse than I ever had to in my life by the time they actually got to me to do the transfer! Also, have it worked out for sure exactly how many you want to transfer ahead of time. I thought our RE would make a recommendation, but he was pretty cagey. Therefore, we had to kind of scramble to make a decision at the last minute. Really though, the transfer doesn't really hurt...it's just a bit uncomfortable if the nurse is pressing on your bladder to help accommodate the process. I found the HSG to be a way more harrowing process. Good luck!!!
