Stacie,
That's great you like your RE. It makes a world of difference. The testing can be overwhelming sometimes. They test for everything...stuff you haven't even thought about. As for affording it. My insurance paid a great deal of it. The only thing my insurance company will not pay for is IVF, etc. Good luck on your journey! It can be long and tiring...stay strong and positive!

Hi,
Thanks for all the words of encouragement. At first my husband and I thought he was completely nuts. Imagine the fastest talker you know and multiply that by 100. LOL! But by the end I loved him. One of my biggest problems is I never know when I ovulate and the OPK's don't work for me. My RE told me not to worry about it, he would tell me when I ovulate and when exactly to have "relations" with my husband as they like to call it. He also told me to call when AF starts and he would bring me in for all the test from A-Z! I just hope we can afford all this. I can't imagine the bill after all is said and done. Good luck with everything on your side as well!
Stacie
Good luck and dont be scared. I always feel so much more confident after I leave my RE. :)
Yes, don't be scared! DH and I felt a weight lifted off of us after we saw our RE for the first time. Right off the bat he scheduled all of the routine tests and I just felt relived someone was stepping up and helping us. You will feel so much better. Take care and Good luck!
Trust me, you will feel a lot more optimistic and in control after you talk to RE.
Good luck!
Don't be scared this is great news. I don't know what problems you or your DH may have with infertility but your RE will be able to work with you so much better. They can get passed virtually any problem so keep hope and stay positive.
