3 Days post IVF

Hi! This is my first post. I have never ever posted anything before although I read them frequently and they help me out a lot. I had my first IVF procedure thee past two weeks. My egg retrieval was 8/19. They took out 12 eggs. 8 were mature, and 6 fertilized. Of those, they had two blastocysts for a 5 day transfer. I was super excited as I have heard 5 day transfer gives the eggs time to hatch?? (Is that right) I went in 8/24 for my transfer. They gave my embryos both grades of a B+, and gave me a 65%-70% chance of success.

That was Tuesday. Today is Friday. I know it doesn't seem like that much time has passed but I'm going insane. I feel nothing. My breasts are still sore but they were before the transfer from all the meds... I also heard you CM should increase and mine has not. Should I be feeling anything ??? I would love to hear anyone who has any advise because I don't know anyone personally who has been through this? Thank you so MUCH!!!!

I don't know much about IVF, but isn't it still a little early to test?  I wouldn't give up hope just yet.

Thank you everyone for your kind words and support!! It is so nice to have everyone here to talk to and I wish each and every one of you the best of luck with your pregnancies or your beautiful children.... My Beta is Thursday. My husband wants us to wait and not take a HPT but I don't think I can wait much longer. Should I wait for the Thursday beta or do u think today I could get accurate results?? my heart is pounding out of my chest!

You are in the right place for support!   We all wish we could have a "window" into our tummies to see what is going on in there, but unfortunately, it's just a wait and see what happens kind of thing.  It is the hard wait you will probably ever indure... but hoping and praying at the end of it you get the most wonderful wonderful news you could ever hear!  Having a blast transer is awesome!!!  You have a great chance of getting your BFP soon!!!

Sending Baby dust your way!!!

I did not have any pregnancy symptoms till I was about 9-10 weeks along.  I think that most women who report prego symptoms before 2ww is over are symply experiencing side effects of progesterone.  Till your hcg starts rising about 14 days after retrieval you can't have any real prego signs.
Good luck!

I also had 2 blasts quality B placed on Day 5 and they resulted in fraternal twins:) I did not really feel any symptoms but I tested a week later on a HPT and got a faint positive. Your chances are really Great! Try to relax time will pass (even though it doesn't feel like it ever will:)))))

It's definitely too early to feel pregnancy symptoms.  My understanding is that most women don't feel them until a week or so after they're missed period.  I am over 16 weeks pregnant and have virtually had no symptoms the entire time.  I was kind of tired through about week ten, but I think that was more due to the progesterone injections I was on.  Other than that, pretty much nothing.  Best of luck to you!  When is your first beta?

there is absolutely nothing you should expect to feel this early.  Most of the "symptoms" we have during the 2ww are either all in our heads or a result of the progesterone we take.
it's a tough wait, but that's all you can do.
Try to relax and not stress about it.
