30 and trying to conceive

I am 30 years old,no children. I have a 13 cm uterine fibroids and a fsh level of 13. I am trying to conceive but my husband also has motility problems with his sperm. What should I do? My dr. wants to put me on lupron before my myomectomy to remove my fibroids but I am not sure what I should do once my fibroids are removed.

you can put your husband on maca, its a natural suppliment and can increase sperm and mobility, I'm also a firm believer in the ability to lower fsh naturally, if your interested, cut out alcohol, smoking and caffine, increase your intake of fresh fruit and vegetables, go organic, especially dairy, add wholegrains, cut out or down on highly processed sugary foods.  Then have spirulina or vital greens daily, for egg health there is also maca, royal jelly, coq10 and L-arginine

Hi,
A high level of FSH usually means poor ovarian reserve; and a very high level usually more than 20, is diagnostic of ovarian failure. High FSH level is just a marker of poor egg quality. Since you have a borderline high FSH level, there are chances that you can conceive with Assisted Reproductive technology.Lupron is an injectable GnRH analog it decreases FSH and LH levels. It is used in Assisted Reproduction techniques like before an intrauterine insemination or in vitro fertilization. Sperm motility may be decreased due to tobacco intake, smoking, low intake of zinc etc.In such cases intrauterine insemination may help. Your doctor may be planning assisted reproduction technology for you. Discuss all your concerns with your treating doctor. Do write to us again if you have more queries.
Best wishes!
