35 and scared

I am turning thirty five this year.  I'm in a new town, I have a new husband and a thirteen year old daughter.  I just removed an iud that was in place for ten years. I was married 3 years before my ex husband I conceived.  My husband and daughter are so excited about  us trying to have a baby. I am excited and nervous. My body isnt the same as it was 13 years ago.  So now we play the waiting game.. my period is due in a week . I've been having some cramps lately. I just don't want to let my family down..Any tips?

Hello,
You should take certain steps for maximizing the chances of conception. You should have sex during ovulation days. Ovulation predictor kits can help you detect when you will ovulate. This enhances the chances of conceiving. Maintain a healthy lifestyle. You should take a balanced and nutritious diet. There are many vitamins which can help in ovulation like vitamin D, C, B6.Iron balances ovulation. Get a prenatal checkup done and ask your doctor about prenatal vitamins like folic acid. Take a healthy nutritious diet and adequate rest. Stay away from stress and exercise daily. If you do not conceive in next few months you and your partner may need evaluation for secondary infertility. Hope it helps.
Regards!
