46 - embryo donation

Has anybody used embryo donations.  Would you mind sharing your experience?  I am on a waiting list and am hoping to be success in getting pregnant.

I will do egg donor next. I have the girl but she needs to do all the testing and stuff.....

Just waiting to heal from a miscarriage @ 9 weeks and D&C( almost two weeks ago).

I'm praying hard that the donor egg process goes well and I get pregnant. It has been a very painful journey:(

If we don't have success this transfer (ashermans) I may look into the donor embryo program.  It is so much cheaper then the donor route.  I know there is a person on here that goes through a clinic in North Carolina and she said they only charge you the cost of your meds and the transfer cost!  I think that is absolutely amazing!

One of the ladies on this site went to a national program that does only embryo donation (differentiated from egg donation) using embryos people no longer need because their families are complete.  They have good numbers, and the woman who used that program is really, really pleased with it.

I am currently using a known donor.  I did end up pregnant from my first transfer but m/c'd due to uterine adhesions.  I do believe it is a wonderful wonderful way to become pregnant!!
