5 week pregnancy scan

Please help!!! Yesterday I thought I was 8 weeks pregnant and started to bleed slightly.  On advice from my GP i went for a private scan.  The sac was picked up although it measured 5 weeks and 3 days.  There was no fetal pole, heart beat or yolk sac.  The midwife said i had either lost the baby at 5 weeks or my dates were wrong.  If my dates are wrong what are the chances of not detecting the heart, fetal pole and yolk sac at 5 weeks 3 days? I am going for another scan at hospital on thursday, is it likely to have grown by then if everything is ok? Feel a bit in limbo!

If u are at 5 weeks then u r dead on track. the fact that they saw a sac is a good thing. U some times can see that at 5 weeks. Keep thinking +.  they really should do them 1 week apart but they might be able to pick up a slight change in 3 days.  If not then dont worry. U should see a change over a week or two.  GL!!!
