5day blast transfer

I had two 5day blasts transfered on February 14th. I had the usual symptoms of cramps, bloating and soreness around the breasts. I'm currently in my tww. I did a pregnancy test yesterday as many ladies on various forums have mentioned that they got positive results this early. My result was negative. I'm trying not to be sad about it. My blood test is scheduled for Feb 25. Is it still possible to have a positive result ?  Was it too early to check?
Thank you

Did a preg test this morning ( 7dpt after a 5d blast transfer)
I got a second line! Faint but clearly visible.

I was going to go with egg donation too. I produced a good amount of eggs but most were abnormal once PGD was done. It was more cost effective for us to do fresh cycles with PGD then one donor cycle. Not so great emotionally but we had to do what we could to keep on trying. Wishing all you ladies the best!!

I had no problem with the eggs. Thirty at a time. They called me the clinic hen. After we added the sperm thee numbers dropped to half, then PGD and less then half. After growing them I was lucky to have 4 viable.
My Dr always says we only need one. Stay positive and stress free.
And if it comes to an egg donor, there is no shame in that. Any bit of help is welcome. Good luck tomorrow.
Please let us know how you are.

Thanks I am considering egg donation next time. I had only one egg retrieved and 1 8 cell embryo implanted. So I'm scared I won't get any eggs if I try again...I'm 41.

Please don't get depressed. I felt it as well, but like the ladies say, stay positive. I hope your beta comes back positive. Sending you positive thoughts

Hello! Welcome to the community! The TWW is brutal. I just had a FET in Oct that was unsuccessful and we just started over with IVF this month. I have my first B/W and U/S tomorrow. I also have an appointment on the 25th with a possible egg retrieval the first week of March.

I read a lot and spend time encouraging other ladies. Like the ladies say we have to stick together and encourage one another.

I will check on u on Tuesday.  Be blessed!

Thank you so much
I am trying to keep busy but every once in a while it just hits me.
So many friends are pregnant right now. You don't want to take away from their moment or feel bad about yourself. Its just been as little hard.
Thanks again

The tww is brutal. What helped me was to keep busy mentally. I only had one FET so I did spend some time obsessing over hpts. I would test out the trigger and watch for a positive. It did prove to provide some valuable information about 2 of my cycles (chemical pregnancies) This is stressful for some people though. I just felt I really needed answers wether they were good or bad after so many IVFs. I agree with MHV. There is some good support here if you go into the next phase of med help. Making friends, sharing your thoughts and supporting others here can be helpful to pass some of your time too. I would be happy to introduce you to some ladies who are currently ttc if you would like. Us girls got to stick together ;)

Thank you so much
Its nice to chat with people that are either going through this or have before
I figured I tried too soon. Its this tww that's masking med crazy. Lol
Hopefully it will work out for the best.

Thanks again

Here is a breakdown of that is happening.  Hopefully it will help.
Sending baby dust your way!!!!

Days Past Transfer= (DPT)

5-Day Transfer

One- The blastocyst begins to hatch out of its shell
Two -The blastocyst continues to hatch out of its shell and begins to attach itself to the uterus
Three- The blastocyst attaches deeper into the uterine lining, beginning implantation
Four - Implantation continues
Five- Implantation is complete, cells that will eventually become the placenta and fetus have begun to develop
Six - Human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) starts to enter the blood stream
Seven- Fetal development continues and hCG continues to be secreted
Eight -Fetal development continues and hCG continues to be secreted
Nine - Levels of hCG are now high enough to detect a pregnancy

Congratulations on your Valentines day transfer! I would say that is too early to see a positive result.  8dp5dt seems to be a common time to see a faint positive but everyone and every cycle is different. Light cramping on and off is a good sign. I almost felt like AF was coming after I had a pos hpt after my transfers. I think you tested way too early to see a positive. I hope in a few more days you see that second line pop up! Best of luck my dear.
