AF/Spotting/Progesterone Question

Hello ladies!

I'm due for AF tomorrow and that would give me a 12-day luteal phase as usual.  I'm having my 2nd month of brown spotting that lasts all day before AF.  It's just a couple of spots of brown.  I never had this until last month and I'm wondering what could be causing this and if anybody else gets this. I know they say low Progesterone causes spotting but I've been taking vitamin B6 and I'm wondering if this could be why because that's when it started.  The B6 was supposed to help increase my Progesterone so I'd think I wouldn't spot this early when I never did before.

Normally when I get AF I spot pink or red in the morning when I wake up and by the time I get to work it's red and a light flow. I'm trying my best to do things naturally and I'm wondering if I should start using the Progesterone cream again and just use more???  I tried it last month but it didn't seem to increase my luteal phase.

I have a doc apt today but I know she'll just brush me off and say oh, that's normal.

Maybe you should ask her point blank if Prometrium would help, or tell her ou want a progesterone test a couple of times in your luteal phase so you can see if the B6 or progesterone cream are helping.

I got to tell you I would claw my doc's eyes out if he ever blew me off over what I feel is the most important event in my life (making a baby).....

You have a right to have your concerns AND have them addressed,  make your doctor do something for you.....

You have a good point about getting tested a couple of times in luteal phase.  I don't like the one time test.  I'm supposed to be getting referred to an RE after today's visit so that poor RE will be getting swarmed with questions.  You're right though, I should stop accepting her answers when I'm the one paying!!   One thing though, I think the B6 helped with my PMS symptoms.

Thanks!
