AF only 3 weeks after MC???

Does any know if it's possible to have a period only 3 weeks after m/c?? My Dr. said expect it in 4-6 weeks which is what I have seen online in several sites. I had all of the signs of ovulation about 10 days ago (my LP): sore breasts, ewcm, etc. and I am bleeding and cramping as if it were an AF. I stopped bleeding afer my m/c for two weeks, then spotted for 4 days then heavy bleeding. Does anyone have any insight into this??

I am so sorry that you had to go through that. You poor thing! It sounds to me from the other posters that this could definitely be your af, and I truly hope that it is. I am truly so sorry for what you've gone through, and I wish you the best. Please keep us updated. Best wishes!

I was 6 weeks along and I had a natural m/c. I actually passed the fetus and brought it into the office which they confirmed it was fetal tissue. I bled for 5 more days then I had what I thought was fertile cm (no bleeding at all at this point). About 9 or 10 (I didn't temp so I am estimating) days later I have this heavy red flow. Also, I had 4 days of brownish spotting before the flow.

I had a d&c on November 30th and I am still waiting for AF.  I have been having unprotected sex, since the dr. told me I could after my followup appointment, and think I might be pregnant already.

Hey it is very possible. After my miscarriage with a d and c, I got my period 3 weeks afterwards. I actually had my follow up appointment right when it started. And she confirmed, it was my period and it's possible to get it that early. Most people don't tend to get it for a while, but I did. She said it's fine. I think what happened is my hormones were all off. Im pretty sure I even ovulated 2 and a half weeks after, I just had like a 3 day luteal phase. After that period I got another just 32 days later, and the next one I got pregnant. If your bleeding heavily or even not, you might want to at least call the doc and make sure she doesn't need to see you. I've heard people that retain placental fragments can bleed a few weeks later. But your probably fine.

Was it a natural miscarriage or D&C? How far along were you if you don't mind me asking. I would think it wouldn't be that abnormal if it was a natural m/c and you weren't that far along. Best wishes!

If you are worried go see your Doc. It took mine 13 weeks to show after i had a D&C.
