I test only if my bbt stays well above the cover line for 13 days

The claims for "early detection" are pretty bogus. You are best to wait until AFTER your AF is late. It is sooooo hard not to test but it truly is a waste of money and HPT are not cheap! Good Luck! I am 6dop and going to do everything I can not to test until at least 14 or 15 dpo.

A week is too early, two weeks after ovulation is best and for some, that is too early too.  When your period is due or late is the best time to test, good luck!
