Acupuncture and fertility

Anyone here had any luck with acupuncture?

I found it somewhat relaxing, but they used smaller needles (Japanese needles) which might have helped.  The practitioner was also so nice...  Tried it for 5 months and then we had to move out of state so I stopped.  I wouldn't try it for fertility at this point as I feel 5 months of trying it was a good enough shot.

You want to start as early as possible. Before your cycle is great.  I started May 5 for a retrieval july 22. Ill let you know how it works out! It is pricey - $80 a week for me. I had a ton of stomach issues after my last retrieval so i thought i would try it.  I dont find it all that relaxing but hey if it works great!!!

Thanks guys!  Well I'm trying it next Friday so I'll let you know what I think.  Any ideas on when in your cycle is best to do it?

I haven't tried it yet. But, do plan to. There are so many medical trials that have proven it to be highly beneficial. There are posters here that swear by it, too. I just don't think their around today.

Hi Jess...I tried acupuncture for about 6 weeks and I did not get a bfp although it probably was not enough time.

I didn't actually enjoy it (some people do) so I stopped.  It was also getting expensive at $50 per session.

Apparently there are benefits and some people really do like it.  It just didn't work for me.

We just started with acupuncture actually...This cycle didnt work for us anyway reguardless, but I will say the acupuncture totally helped me to relax :) Gave me a little " me time " during the week to de-stress and think about things :) I will continue with it :)
