Advice please

I need to get some advice – we’re a lesbian couple in the process to ttc. Our doctor currently has us on the following treatment:
Fertomid 100mg for 5 days from the 2nd day of menses. Then Ovidrel at 36 hours prior to IUI, and 100mg Utrogestan twice a day (morning & night) from the day of IUI. From day #9 after menses starting, every second day we go for scans.
We’ve had two IUI attempts now, unsuccessfully. We’re going for a laparoscopy next Thursday to see what’s wrong. Now my question to the fertility expert –
Please tell us, is our doctor doing everything that he can to help us? Coz, if he isn’t, I would much rather we spend the (LOT OF) money elsewhere.
BTW, we've had hormone tests done, & my results were above normal. Plus, the donor is giving high quality sperm.
ALSO, can our doctor do anything to increase our chance of twins?

you may want to see an endocrinologist if you are having second thoughts.  give your doctor a chance and if nothing happens, se the E.  they say if a woman is taking fertility medicine she may have a big chance of twins, two of my friends had twins.  Good luck to you :)

Your chances of having twins depend on the number of follicles you are producing.  A lap after just two failed IUI's seems too aggressive.  The only way you can increase your chances is by doing more aggressive injectables (e.g. follistim or gonal-f) or doing ivf.
Good luck!

anytime when you are taking fertility medicine, you chance are having twin.  Most of doctor already do the best he/she can to help you.  There are a lot of reason why you can't have a baby even though your test come back normal or above normal. If you feel the doctor didn't do the job, then go to specialist (RE) for treatment.

Stress, poor diet, weight, age, uterine fibroids, health problem, athletic training, etc...  there are so many factors why woman can't conceive.
