Girls...soooo my mystery continues but I think I'm on the upswing. I went this morning to have my blood drawn so they can send it out to a different lab. Yesterday my HCG was 26 and they aren't sure why I still have HCG in my system after m/c almost 10 weeks ago. So...a couple of days ago I bought a Clearblue easy didgital monitor (smiley face one) and I used it on Thurs. got a negative. Had my blood drawn on Fri at 26. I was laying down and I started to get a slight cramp on my right side I 'm a little crazy wondering about possible ectopic pregnancy...I decided to take the ovualtion kit test and guess what.....smiley!!!! It says on the box that this is 99% effective..does this mean that my levels have dropped to 0? Does this mean I will FINALLY get af in 2 weeks???
I posted on the other thread... but I would say that you are probably ovulating! I hope that is what it means!! so, did they test your levels again today??
They tested my levels but they sent them out to a lab...so I won't have them till next week..hopefully Monday. The only negative thing I've read on the Clearblue site is that if you were recently pregnant or are pregnant it might mess up the test. But I know their pregnancy tests don't even pick up an HCG level as low as mine. So...I'm guessing it wouldn't pick up anything now that would cause the test to not work and I don't have PCOS or anything...plus I used the OPK on Thurs. and it came out negative...so I think I'm in the clear...since my levels were 25.4 on Tues. and 26 on Friday they had to be about the same on Thurs. as they were today...if not less today. You can't ovulate until zero HCG right??
That is what I thought, but I don't know for sure... 25 is pretty low... so... I hope in two weeks you get your AF!!! That would be exciting! I remember just wishing for that first period too, so that I could start to try again, the only time in my life I wished so hard for my AF!!!
hmmmm...I guess I'll have to wait and see...I know it didn't mess up the test on Thurs. so I don't think the HCG would mess it up today... I will be soooo excited to get AF...right now I think my RE is a little stumped...
