They might consider ICSI because of the low count and motility.
Will we need to do ICSI with the IVF? I am so worried. Our insurance does not cover IVF. Also his motility was only 32%. I think things are looking really bad for us
Wow, that is a GREAT FSH! 100,000 is a very low count. Your ob will probably suggest ivf since for IUI you need a few mln.
HELP!! My FSH was 4.6 good! BUt Dh sperm came back at 100,000 - we are so worried
OPKs don't work for about 20% of women. You may need one that tests at a lower level. Babyhopes has one of the lowest testers out there. Maybe, they will work for you. Have you tried bbt?
If you are not ovulating and if you have been ttc for over a year already. May be you are ovulating on different days. Take the opk test starting early and go on till day 16 to 17. Some women ovulate on different.
If it still doesn't work you should see a RE. May be you might need clomid to start with to make you ovulate. Did you get your FSH result? what was the level?
Thanks girls!!! Do you know- does it depend on age? I am 29 with mild endometriosis and had a lap for a 7cm hemmorag cyst covering my rt ovary 5 months ago. I also had mild adhesions that had dragged my ovaries down. The surgeon (my gyno) said it shouldn't affect my fert. He said 90% of my rt ovary is still there and looked healthy. He said the left was fine. Do you think my FSH will be ok? I'm just nervous! Good luck to everyone!!! You all are such a great support!!!
ps- I am going for a day 21 test too to see if I ovulate. I really don't think I do. I have taken home ov tests for a year and never got a +? But my period is like clockwork and I have no PCOS symptoms- is this possible?
Helen is right. On day 3 anything under 10 is said to be very good.
Anything under 10 is "good", I think.
