I know where you're coming from.  I've been married for 12 yrs now and been "trying" for about 8 of those.  Had to have surgery for endometiosis, a cyst on fallopian tube and polyp in the middle of my uterus.  I did 3 months of clomid and the only time I've ever been close to conceiving was 11 yrs ago when I had a "pre-term" miscarriage.  It takes a huge toll on your emotions, but just don't lose hope. :)

I love this site and have made many wonderful friends.  It is nice to have someone to talk to because my family is all fertile myrtle's.  They don't understand what I'm going through nor do I expect them to so coming here helps alot. :)

Just know that clomid even though it has side effects not every woman is the same....I had hot flashes and all that good stuff lol.  Also, it made me ovulate later than normal and that also made my cycle longer.  Just a heads up in case it doesn't seem like you're going to get a + OPK.  How long are your cycles normally?  Mine are always 31-33 days so I usually ovulate around cycle day 17 but I'll start testing around cycle day 10, Just in case!  Good luck hun!! I really hope it works for you.

Hi there!  Are you using opk's(ovulation predictor kits) or charting your BBT(basal body temp)?  If you're doing none of those you can start and that will help but you can also go in for a cd21 blood test and they can confirm ovulation.  I was on clomid for 3 months and they made me do all of this.  Try to keep your head up and never lose hope!  This trying to conceive stuff is extremely hard but try not to let it get you down.  We've all felt hopeless so we all know where you're coming from.  If you ever need to talk just message me or post on the forum! :)  Good luck hun!!
