Also, try to take it after at least 4 hours of sleep. The temps will vary a little from day to day so try not to analyze each temp too much. Look at the overall picture. I have a digital thermometer that I use that goes to tenths of a degree. I take my temp vaginally. I find that I get much more consistent numbers when I do it that way. I just stick the thermometer in about the same depth each time. The thermometer beeps when it's done. Check out my chart if u would like to see an example (look at March, April, and May for some good examples).  Hope this helps! Let me know if u have any other questions. :)

I Highly suggest the book I am reading right now.  It's awesome! It's answering soooo many questions.  Its called "Taking charge of your fertility" It will cost like $15 new.... It will go through temperatures, discharge, everything..Good luck!

yes use a digital thermomter. It only changes by .2-.5degrees. U take it every day at the same time. it u change the time it changes your temp. also do it before u get out of bed. movement makes your temp change.  tracking cervical mucus also helps.  u can also track cervical position. Egg white cm ( think of a chicken egg) is time for ovulation. it should be stretchy. i hope this helps. if u need to know more just email me.
