BFN where to go from here?

I am new to this community so I want to share my story because it is difficult going thru this. My mother got pregnant on birth control 3 times! Me on the other hand, have to take clomid to produce the eggs, and I don't release eggs alone so I have to take the trigger shot.
I have 2 children both conceived using fertility drugs. They truelly are a blessing. I am now trying for my 3rd. I have been on glucophage for 4 months now 1500mg ER. I was on 150mg clomid & 10,000 hcg shot. Follicle scan showed eggs: 1-17mm & 1-20mm. I have been bloated, gassy beyond belief, moody, bb full & sore. Well I got a BFN this morning. Tomorrow is cd 28.
My other 2 children were with my 1st husband. With this month failed, I don't know how to talk to my new dh about semen analysis possibly. He doesn't like the taking drugs to get pregnant, he want to have unprotected sex & see what happens. I have tried to explain that I need fertility meds just to make it happen. He doesnt have kids of his own yet. So where to go from here? Another month & see if it works! I'm trying to find the shot cheaper somewhere else? I thought for sure this was the month since I produced healthy eggs, got the shot, had lots of sex...poof! BFN.

It sure can be trying, I tried for 5 yrs, but now I have my bfp. You definatly need to make sure DH is on board, he will do it if he knows how important it is to you, if you go the IUI route they usually at least look at his sperm after the wash anyways. Good Luck!

Sometimes you need a bit of luck to get that egg fertilized and implanted.  Try a few more months with drugs and the trigger and if that does not work talk to your dh.  Note that even healthy couples take about a years to conceive.
