Baby Asprin to Prevent Miscarriages?

Hi ladies,

The nurse at my RE's office told me to start taking 81m of baby asprin to prevent future miscarriages. I had an embryo demise in April and I'm currently expriencing a chemcial pregnancy.
I'm just starting to research the baby asprin issue, but I don't want to re-invent the wheel if someone out there has some good resources they can share with me. Has anyone had any good/bad experiences with taking the baby asprin???

The only thing I know thus far is that baby asprin thins your blood and supposedly prevents clotting.  I'm wondering if this will only help me if I have some kind of blood clotting problem (which I think is called Thrombophilia). And what  are the risks associated with taking it if you don't really need it (i.e., is it harmful to thin your blood if it doesn't need to be thinned?)

When you are pregnant your blood changes, I have a bleeding disorder my blood doesnt clot properly & it was something I asked my specialist. He told me that my blood would clot better when I was pregnant, so I suppose that without a bleeding problem your blood will become thicker also. The asprin they have told you to have is probably a low dose? so should be fine.
Dont know if that helps at all?
