Pregnant even with negative results?

Has anyone here ever heard of being pregnant even if the blood tests and hpt says no?
I have always been very regular...we recently went through IVF and were told it was not successful.  However, i have not completed my cycle...and am 4 weeks late.  I was given provera to bring on AF, but I am worried to take it "just in case".

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone has been through something similar?

i had a blood test show negative after 3 positive hpt's. 2 days later the blood test showed positive.

I took several HPT that were all negative, but the blood test was positive... I have never personally heard of the blood test being wrong (unless the lab slipped up)...
