Bfn day 8 after 3 day transfer--maybe too early to test?

Hi everyone: I did an early detection pregnancy test (first response) tonight and it was negative.  My transfer was last Friday, eight days ago and my retrieval was three days before that, so I am 11 days past retrieval.
Has anyone had a negtive hpt on day 11 and ended up with a
Thanks

I don't get the grade thing as my dr said the embryo can look good structurally and still be abnormal chrmosomally--so I am not sure why they bother to grade them.
Did your dr explain what he meant when he said your embryos "looked good?"
Are you going to take n hpt or wait?

I know, it's so stressful.  I had three embryos transferred, but I don't know the grade-the clinic I go to is not so into the grade, and neither am I.  I got pregnant with a not so great looking embryo five years ago and did not get pregnant with great looking blastocysts last year, so grade to me doesn't  mean much.  They said the embryos looked good, and thats good enough for me.
This is my third IVF also!  Yes, it's a pretty tiring experience.

Just a bit crampy since five days after transfer. They transferred three grade A eight cell embryos and two others so I would think I'd at least end up with a chemical pregnancy (not that I want that but I am starting to think I can't get pregnant on a medicated cycle-i've only gotten pregnant on non-medicated cycles).
It's my third ivf and my husband is tiring of the whole thing : (

We are on the exact same schedule! My retrieval was tuesday, my transfer was last friday and my blood test is scheduled for 2/2.  I'm going crazy here, looking into every twitch or lack of symptoms.  I am scared to do an hpt, because the last time we went through this I had a chemical pregnancy, so the hpt came up positive, only to leave me devistated later on.  This is so hard! What are you feeling? Anything out of the ordinary?

I know the feeling .. I tested 3 days in a row last week before my af .. it had been 5 weeks since my d&c and I was holding out hope that I would be pregnant again but no luck .. I really hope it happens for you this time .. I will have everything crossed for you!

Thanks for the reply. I will probably test every day until I go for my beta...can't seem to resist although I told myself I'd wait until I went to the dr on 2/2...

hey love .. for my last pregnancy, I tested at 11 dpr same as you and only got a very faint positive .. you could hardly see it!  so it definitely could be too early for you .. I know a few people that it didn't show as positive until day 14 and 15 and they both have babies now!! good luck!!
