Blocked Tubes

I found out that I had both tubes blocked with adhesion, I am in my mid 20's and have average weight. My specialist referred me to the hospital to have tubal surgery to remove all adhesions.

In the follow up letter I have received it states that the surgery went very well and both tubes and ovaries were mobilized. All adhesions were divided and the tubes have good access to the ovaries.
Both tubes did end in terminal hydrosalpinges and bilateral salpingostomies were performed.
The result of the right was very good with some reasonably normal fimbria present after the procedure was performed.
It did mention that the left was less successful but the tube is patent and the tube does have access to the ovary. My specialist will prescribe me Chlomiphane Citrate to aid fertility.

I just wondered after this type of surgery and with the prescription of Chlomiphane Citrate what are the chances of getting pregnant?

Does this type of surgery normally result in successful pregnacy?

Thank you in advance for your responce.

It's so hard to say what your chances are, but if the blocked tubes were your only reason for infertility, I would think you'd have a pretty good chance! Especially with clomid, since that might help you produce more than one egg.

I'm not too familar with the surgery you had, though.

Best of luck!
