I figured that. I scheduled an appointment for this Friday coming up, so I will see what the cause of this is. I still haven't had AF yet.
If your blood work came back negative then it isn't wrong. Stress can cause you to be late too.
I am 38 and a half years old... have been on the bcp since my daughter was born 20 months ago..stopped it 2 months ago... my last 2 menstrual periods have been extremely light.... one to two days each time... am I premenopausal or is this from hormonal changes from stopping the bcp??? Concerned I will not be able to get pregnant....
Hello,
Urine pregnancy test is a very sensitive test for diagnosing pregnancy if done correctly. It detects the presence of beta hcg in urine. This test can be taken up 2-3 days after a missed period. Measurement of blood HCG levels can detect smaller amounts of the hormone, and so can detect pregnancy earlier than urine tests. They are more sensitive and accurate compared to urine tests. That will detect whether you are pregnant or not. Since all your tests are negative other causes of late periods like hormonal imbalances, ovulation dysfunction etc should be considered. A detailed evaluation will be helpful in determining the correct cause. This is merely an advice and not a substitute for clinical examination. I sincerely hope it helps.
Take care and regards!
