hey there ladies-- i work as a certified ophthalmic assistant for an ophthamologist, basically i do all of the eye exams etc. i just wanted to let you know that when you get preggo your corneas tend to swell therefore causing blurry vision. usually the bright light thing is a migraine too---- even if you don't have any pain. also, there are some visual side effects with some fertility meds such as clomid-- just see your ophthamologist if it continues. best of luck!!! congrats on BFP!!!

Thanks, all! I worried it was a migraine coming on too, but no headache ever appeared and it's since gotten a bit better. I'm not on progesterone supplements, but the last time they checked my progesterone it was pretty high so maybe it's just from the hormones? My doctor didn't seem too concerned. My blood pressure was fine so I guess I'm okay! It was just really scary!

I had blurred vision early on. I'm 13 weeks now and it seems to be gone. I've got to admit though that my vision is altered since pregnancy. I don't seem to "see as well."
Are you on progesterone supplements? That can cause blurred vision. If so, it is advised that you call your doctor...which you already have :-) Hopefully it will go away again by itself. Take care, Sheri!
I get what you are describing right before I'm going to have a migraine. The first time it happened, I was alone at work, and absolutely convinced myself I was having a stroke. Could it be that you are getting a migraine?
