No it is an SHG. Same sort of deal as an HSG but it is an ultrasound not an x-ray and they use saline not a dye. A little more detail than an HSG, They want to see if they uterine cavity has changed since the 2 miscarriages and if the D&C did any damage. I know i was confussed as well. It is done by the RE not just a tech!

Hey, ladies! Sorry I've been away sooo long. I think of you all often!!! Going back to work made my busy schedule much busier! It's crazy, but manageable & Ricky & Ava really seem to like their daycare. I'm so comfortable with it & relieved to know their in good hands & having fun while I'm at work. They just turned 6 months old this past Wednesday! They're both rolling over, trying to crawl & "talking" and laughing a lot. Ricky can't help but smile. It's so cute :) Ava loves our dog! She watches him & laughs. We say "boo" to Ricky & he can't stop laughing. Just too cute! They're both eating rice cereal & mastered sweet potatoes last week. We started carrots today & they're doing great. We're supposed to do vegetables first, one flavor for a week, in order to find out if they're allergic to something. After vegetables, we'll start on fruits :) So, every day is crazy busy for me, but of course I love it ;) Going back to work, I'm now working in a really busy courtroom. It's tough, but a different kind of busy. My judge stops every day at 4:00, which I'm grateful for. Then I can rush over to pick up the lil ones early & still spend some fun time with them before they fall asleep ;)

Just updating. I'm 14 weeks today. Recent NT scan came back with excellent results. Next OB appointment is this Wednesday. Still debating on knowing sex of baby. Husband wants to know, but I don't. We can't agree on names either, so I'm thinking if I give in on the sex, I get the name I want. Gotta pick my battles  :-)

Here's wishing for completely uneventful pregnancies for you all.

You are very smart lol. I totally agree. Congratulations on 14 weeks. Im also 7 weeks and are so anxious to get to 12 just for a peace of mind.  With my nausea and vomiting (tmi), its beginning to feel real.. No complaints =)

I am still here...Just really had nothing to update on!!! After the first ivf didn't work i vowed to no b'd till after 12 weeks, after the first mc dh didn't want to till after a baby was here but we never got that far...I guess it is what you feel comfortable with!

I am doing ok...waiting as always to see what is going on, CD 21... 5-6dpo. I know it is a long shot for it to happen naturally but i can't keep sitting here doing nothing. I should have already started my meds but now that i need this SHG i hhave to wait AGAIN. I just wish back in july after the m/c they figured out that they didn't want to do another transfer until these tests were done! On the bright side i may be transfering on my or around my b.day so maybe that is a good sign...i nice b.day present for me!!

I'm 14 weeks and still no bd. Husband wants nothing to do with anything that could harm the baby. I've told him, the specialist told him, my OB told him but he's not having it. Lucky me. Owell... at least I get to sleep more. HA!

Ok ladies tomm is my u/s and im still nervous...Morning sickness is at full swing and my bbs are huge! lol  I also have this little bump I guess from bloating but it constantly reminds me im preggo. Still can't believe, hope is all well with my lil peanut tomm to finally give my mind a rest and enjoy.  Im 7 weeks 3 days today. Can't wait to be 12 weeks.

trh0819: We actually didn't bd for the whole pregnancy! We just had too many risks throughout. After I felt comfortable that the babies were okay, we ended up doing amnios, I was in the hospital, then on bedrest, then gestational diabetes... It just wasn't worth it. And, yes! You need your sleep! ;-)

U/s went beautiful baby measured perfect 7wks 4 days hb 140bpm..looked so much bigger. I'm so happy I cried during u/s...so happy

Question when did you stop the progesterone and estrace? I was told to stop everytinh and are somewhat nervous I'm only 8 weeks today.
