the tests i went for yesterday morning were for my testosterone, progesterone and thyroid.  i'm not supposed to get my progesterone taken if a period starts which i thought had yesterday, but i've had nothing other than that one show of blood.  My chest is beginning to hurt which isn't unusual before AF.  I find out my blood results next week so got my fingers crossed all is okay.  I had my progesterone done before and it was fine they wanted to do a second just to be on the safe side.  Thanks again for your comments!!

It could be implantation bleeding.
