mommyin10-  Oh I'm glad you are being seen every week.  That makes me feel better.  Those exercises don't seem quite right to me either.  Every baby book says to avoid exercises that make you tighten your abs after this far along...  things that make you go hmmmm.  They say we know what is best for ourselves based on intuition.  I think you should just listen to that.  I'm sleepy but I want to get some pictures of the work in the nursery and I am so hoping that it is done and ready by time the baby shower comes.  We'll see...

I am feeling ok.  I am still hungry a lot of the time but I think it is slowly getting better. I still wake up with headaches a lot but most of the time after I eat I feel better.  I always wake up around 5:20 am and have a hard time getting back to sleep.  I sleep ok so far though.  My 20 week u/s is on Jan.  28th and yes, I am excited to see him moving around:)

So, I didn't care much for physical therapy. I felt like she didn't totally understand my limitations & was asking me to do thing I shouldn't, like an exercise where I should tighten my abs. Not a great idea when pushing on my tummy causes my cervix to shorten! And the first thing she had me do is stand up, bend over & touch my toes... I did, but not anywhere near where I could have. I did learn some good exercises, too & luckily I won't be going back. I got a printout of things to do after trying them once with her. So, I'll just pick & choose. I was exhausted after yesterday! I'm getting more uncomfortable & I'm very slow walking to and from the car & doc's appts! Next I'll see my ob on Friday. She'll do an exam & FFN test ;)

mommy- thank you for the well wishes.  we are both doing better but its a slow process.  its hard being sick with a lil one.

so i uploaded some pics from jaedyns first x mas.  I can not believe i will be uploading his first birthday pics for you ladies in a little over a month.  it feels like yesterday all of you  ladies were all routing for my hcg levels to rise after my BFP.

Things are fine on my end.  Jake is doing well and we are keeping busy!  I can't believe he will be 5 months old on Tuesday.  It does get better and better :)

sbumblebeeo: Okay, so all this snow can stop already lol! How was your day?

kmcarino: I'm not too uncomfortable yet - although I can't remember being comfortable at all after about 15wks lol! I've had a lot of pelvic pain from her sitting so low. I feel like I have to pee every 1/2hr during the day and I wake a couple of times a night to go. I also wake to flip sides b/c my arm or hip will fall asleep. My BH contractions have gotten stronger when they hit, which is fine that way I know my body is really preparing ahead of time lol! It's all certainly worth it though :-) How are you feeling? Your scan is soon isn't it?

I got more of the nursery done today, but I feel like I have a lot more to do before she's born. Still trying to do a little each day so I don't exhaust myself. I forgot to take a belly pic today, so hopefully I'll remember tomorrow :-) Have a good night ladies!!

That's the high risk doc :) I'm seeing my ob every week. Just not today because I saw the high risk :) Gotta run! My appt w/the physical therapist is at 2:00.

mommyin10-  That is great news!  I don't understand why you wouldn't go back for 4 weeks though.  I am not even dilated and my doctor is seeing me every 2 weeks from now on.  I would have expected the same for you.  I'm so happy that he thinks you'll be good for another 4 weeks!  That's 32 weeks!  The babies will be so much more developed!  Good news!

I had my appt with the high risk doc today. Since I was already 1cm
dilated last week & because my fetal fibronectin test keep coming back negative, they didn't check for cervical length or dilation, which is ok with me. The doc said the babies & I both look great, so as long as I'm on bedrest at home, there was no need to check. He set an appt for 4 weeks from now! I said, do you think I'll make it that long? And he said yes, so we'll see! :) Our baby boy is aporox 2lbs, 5 oz & our girl is 2lbs, 3 oz. It's always good to see their hearts beating & bodies moving :) Its very reassuring :) So, now I'm home resting til my physical therapy appt.

Dnikki: Yay, new pics! :) I'll check them out :) I can't upload pics being on bedrest ;) Our scanner & main computer is in our spare room out in the back (attached to our garage).

Leighanne: Awww, poor Jaedyn & mommy, too! ;) I hope you feel better soon & can't wait to see Christmas pics! :)

kmcarino: How interesting that your uterus is no longer considered small! That's great, though :) Mine is small due to the funky shape & adding twins to that, but so far, so good.

Thanks for the info.  I have been looking for people who could tell me how long they carried with a small uterus, just trying to get an idea of how long I might go.  I know everyone is different.  My uterus was almost completly split in two but I had surgery to correc it and now I am left wih a small abnormal shaped uterus or Bicornuate uterus.  I have found a few women who carried to 34 weeks or 38 weeks.  My doctor said his goal for me was 32-34 weeks.  I guess we'll see at my next u/s where we are at and what my cervix looks like.  Are you so excited for your 20 week scan!?!?!?!  I am.  Good luck and i hope he is growing just right.

sbumblebeeo- Happy 28 weeks to you too!  No, I do not mind you asking...you can ask me anything!  My high risk doctor told me that I would either have the baby early or that the baby would be small, and I worried until I was considered full term, and luckily, I just had a small baby at 5 lbs. 3 oz.  They induced me at 38 weeks 5 days because they felt the baby's growth was slowing down and did nto want to take a risk so I was pretty much full term when I delivered.

mommyin10- I was high risk the first time around since I had a small uterus before I got pregnant and I got pregnant with multiples.   Anyway, they checked my uterus when I started trying for my second and my uterus is normal size now, not small anymore.  So I am not high risk anymore.  I think that due to the baby's growth slowing down, I will have monthly ultrasounds to check for growth from 26 weeks on.  By the way, I have a 20 week u/s scheduled for January 28th:)  Oh, and I am not sure4 what the diagnosis was for the small uterus...I guess it is possible that it is realted to my disorder.  They don't have too much info on my disorder since it is so rare, but anyway, it isn't a problem for me anymore.  How have you been feeling?

dnikki- Wow!  Only a few more weeks!!  Are you super uncomfortable yet?  I wish I was sleeping better.  I seem to have a headache every morning too which stinks.  I am starting to have vivid dreams though so that is cool:)

Just wanted to let you ladies know that I got a few pics loaded. They aren't the best.....but it's something. I am doing pretty good. The sleep thing is alot better with a  pillow between your legs. I still wake up sometimes, but not like I was....lol Well I need to get some cleaning done...I will check in later.

Well, today it's just me and our 2 4-legged kids (dogs) lol...I got my side of the closet cleaned out which it needed oh so bad lol! Got laundry folded and put away and washed burp cloths, a bigger blanket and her bibs. I just have those to fold now. I finally got the tree down and the other decorations down and they are just waiting for DH to get home so he can take them upstairs :-) I want to run the sweeper yet, but I'm going to rest for awhile first... If you don't mind me asking... How long did you carry with your first child.  I have a small uterus also and I am just curious.  My doctor said his goal for us is 32-34 weeks.  I use to have an almost complete seperation and then had surgery to have that dividing section removed.  It has left it in a better but still smaller state.  I have an u/s next week to check the length of my cervix and give us a better idea.  I, just like mommyin10 am 7 months today!  We have the same due date!

mommyin10- Happy 28 weeks!  I can understand how relieved you are!  I was at high risk for premature labor the first time around due to my small uterus so I worried until I got to that point too:)  I am sorry that you have gestational diabetes:(  I know that you will deal just fine with it like you do with everything else:)  I know you will do whatever you have to to make sure the babies are ok.  Good luck at your appt. tomorrow!
